drink your greens smoothie

Serves one

Calcium-rich kale breathes vibrant life into this surprisingly sweet energy booster (and nothing gets stuck between your teeth).

1 ripe Fairtrade banana
1 1/2 cups kale
3/4 cup frozen strawberries
2 pitted dates
1 cup filtered water

Put everything into a blender and whizz until smooth.

Superfood it: Add 1/2 teaspoon maca powder before blending.
